Sensory Friendly Performance of Sleeping Beauty

Sensory-Friendly performance of this creative treatment of a classic fairy tale is told with rhymed verse in a magical, multimedia world where the beautiful (and quirky) princess is awakened by true love's kiss...or not. Interactive storytelling by creator and performer, David Gonzalez combines with live music and image projections to capture audience imagination. The score includes excerpts from Bach's Goldberg Variations as well as original music by composer and pianist Daniel Kelly, who is often pulled into the action onstage. The talented Gonzalez is a cultural ambassador for the U.S. State Department and the proud recipient of the International Performing Arts for Youth "Lifetime Achievement Award for Sustained Excellence."
