Access to conference on all 3 days (we do not offer day passes)
W-Fri beverages 8 – 11 am
W-Th beverages 1:15-4 pm
W-Th poster receptions 5-7 pm
Fri breakfast 8-9:30 am
Attendees are on their own for all other meals. There are multiple affordable restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Complimentary wi-fi is available in the sleeping rooms to registered hotel guests and to conference attendees in the conference meeting rooms. Because we expect a large number of attendees to use the wi-fi simultaneously during peak times, it is recommended that guests bring their own "hot spot" connections, as we cannot guarantee optimal speed.
Online registration at the higher rate is now available for conference attendees through Apr. 1. Because print orders have to be sent out two weeks ahead of the conference, late registrants cannot be guaranteed a pre-printed name tag. A small number of extra program books will be printed and given to late registrants on a first come, first served basis. The program book as well as all poster and symposium abstracts will be available in PDF format on the GC Program page beginning the week of the conference.
Registration will also be available on-site Apr. 1-3. Those who prefer to pay with a credit card can register on their own laptops, tablets, or mobile devices, as well as on computers available for use in the hotel business center across from the registration table. Registrants paying with a check will fill out a paper registration form. Cash payments will no longer be accepted.
Please be prepared to show your registration confirmation receipt on-site to expedite the check-in process!
Gatlinburg Conference Cancellation/Refund Policy
If you must cancel your registration for this conference, Vanderbilt University will refund your registration fee, less a 10 % administrative fee provided you notify us no later than 2 weeks prior to the conference. No refunds will be made after that date. Registration may be transferred to another person. In the event of cancellation or rescheduling of this conference due to unforeseen circumstances, Vanderbilt University will refund registration fees in full. Since you are responsible for making your own travel arrangements, Vanderbilt University is not responsible for non-transferable, non-refundable airline tickets or hotel accommodations purchased in connection with attendance at this conference.
