Helping Adults with Intellectual and
Developmental Disabilities Get Better

Getting appropriate physical and behavioral health care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities can be challenging. This video training series, entitled “Appropriate Use of Psychotropic Medications for People with IDD: Helping Individuals Get the Best Behavioral Health Care,” provides tips and best practices to help individuals, families, caregivers, direct support professionals and conservators in this effort. The training contains eight modules, between 5 to 13 minutes each, and they can be viewed at any time, in any order. You must register for an account with our training system to view the training. This training is free of charge.
