TRIAD Mindfulness for Educators – Mindfulness Practice with your Students

Vanderbilt’s Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) will provide educators with four webinars about teaching simple mindfulness practices to adolescents. The aim of the webinars is to help teachers and school personnel learn how to utilize TRIAD-created mindfulness modules published for student use. Attendance at all four webinars is required. Please register if you plan to attend so that you will receive the link to access the webinar.

Participant Requirements

  • Attend all 4 webinars
  • Have internet access and a web-capable device to watch the webinar series

Suggested Participant

  • This webinar will be most applicable to a variety of educators who work directly with students, including students with ASD.

Training Topics

  • Overview of TRIAD-created mindfulness modules for students
  • Instruction and application activities regarding student mindfulness support materials

Webinar Format

Webinar learning activities include:

  • Large group instruction
  • Module viewing
  • Application activities and problem solving

Proof of Attendance

  • Participants who attend ALL webinars in the series will receive certificates documenting their participation of the entire series for up to 6 hours of professional development.

This professional development opportunity is sponsored by the Tennessee Early Intervention System and is available to Early Intervention Providers in Middle and West Tennessee at no-cost to participants.
