Mental Health Awareness & Resources Conference: Hidden in Plain Sight: A Collaborative Approach to Mental Health Awareness
April 26 (F)
8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Held at the Boling University Center, UT Martin, 61 Mt. Pelia Rd., Martin. This event will bring awareness to mental health and suicide prevention Resources and services available in rural West Tennessee. Removing stigma and providing education are key to improving the quality of care for Tennesseans. The collaborative approach is to shed light on services often right in front of us but seemingly hidden because we don’t know where to access the services. All too often, people in need of services don’t know where to turn for access and support due to the stigma associated with receiving care for mental health needs.
