A monthly workshop series for parents of young children with an autism spectrum disorder.
Program is free of charge.
Each 3-hour workshop focuses on providing parents and caregivers with strategies to use at home, school, and in the community. The strategies discussed are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
This workshop focuses on strategies for promoting successful mealtime. We will discuss why mealtimes can be challenging for children with autism spectrum disorder, what strategies can be useful in improving mealtime, and how caregivers can individualize these strategies for their child.
