The event will be free to attend and will include information about the disability rights movement, history of the ADA, the impact that the ADA has had and continues to have on people with disabilities, and what the future may hold for people with disabilities as a result. Lots of activities are being planned to increase awareness about and participation in recreational and leisure activities for people with disabilities and we expect a large turnout of local disability-related agencies and programs to educate the community about resources and opportunities for people with disabilities in the Knoxville area. This event is being hosted by the disABILITY Resource Center (dRC) and is supported by both the City of Knoxville and Knox County governments.
