A regional Center for Independent Living (CIL) and non-profit agency that empowers individuals with disabilities to live independent lives in the community by providing services such as: Peer Support, Independent Living Skills Training, Accessibility Consulting, Work Incentive Planning & Assistance (WIPA), Braille Production Services, as well as supports to find and maintain employment. EmpowerTN also sponsors monthly Empowered Ladies Women's Support Group and regular Tech Talk Group meetings about assistive technology for persons with disabilities.
