Hearing Loss Association-Nashville Chapter (HLAA-NC) provides emotional support for persons with hearing loss and their families and friends, as well as numerous opportunities for social interaction and activities.
HLAA-NC provides tools for self-help; educates the general public about the unique communication needs of people who are hard of hearing.
HLAA-NC advocates for an understanding of the nature, causes, complications, and assistive technology used with individuals who have hearing loss. HLAA-NC provides information on many aspects of hearing loss, from technological and medical advances to coping strategies with family, friends, and co-workers.
