Help us explore how children learn verbs.

Who: Children with typical development, 3 to 6 years old

What children will do:

  • Complete language and cognitive assessments at the start of the study
  • Attend one verb learning session—fun, interactive activities to learn words

Melanie Schuele, PhD, CCC-SLP is the faculty advisor coordinating this study. Alison Hessling, MS, CCC- SLP (PhD student) and Jena McDaniel, MS, CCC-SLP (PhD student) will complete study activities with children

Participant Criteria

Children with typical development, 3 to 6 years old


Participants will receive up to $50 as compensation for their time.
